Who We Are
Like many people around the planet today, we are three women and mums to six happy children, who are waking up in consciousness and feeling that our life's purpose, is not just about our own life and family.
We are beginning to understand that it's more about what we bring to life, that our thoughts, feelings and actions create our attitude to life and that these connect us to other's well being, as well as our own.
After discovering the truth about so called "natural" cotton, we wanted to do our little bit towards sustaining the planet.
Our vision is to see organic and sustainable clothing, with all of their incredible life giving benefits, becoming the normal clothing garment for people to purchase and wear every day.
In trying to educate our own children about life's values, virtues and environmental issues and opportunities, we noticed that there was an opportunity to make these subjects a more fun, inspirational and interactive learning experience.
What We Do
With that intention, we developed and created a unique organic and sustainable clothing range for children and adults.
We plan to launch additional clothing lines and accessories later in the year and throughout 2009 and beyond.
Our adult collection has been created to increase conscious awareness and well being in order to live a balanced, positive and healthy life.
Our children's collections offer inspiring learning opportunities that promote and increase self awareness, confidence and encourage positive social behaviour.
The Inspiration Behind "Buddy" Our Organic Cotton Bud Man
We are inspired by people like Eckhart Tolle, Oprah Winfrey, Bob Proctor, Dr Wayne Dyer, Rev Michael Beckwith and Paul Martinelli, who are awakening people all over the planet to their unlimited potential and life's purpose.
We are also inspired by the increasing number of retailers, independent brands, charities, NGO's and increasing media, who are supporting the growth and availability of organic cotton and other sustainable materials to ensure a healthier and harmonious vision for our future environment.
Buddy has been created to represent high quality, ethical and environmental clothing, and will create an appealing and fun introduction of these increasingly important global issues for your children.
Buddy's Benefits
Buddy also helps children increase their self awareness, confidence and belief in themselves, in conjunction with conscious parenting. Children who are self aware are more concerned with other's well being, as well as their own.
As parents, the attention we give our children and more importantly, where we give it, is a very powerful influence, meaning that what we tend to focus on with our children is usually what we get more of. If you always look out for negatives, or seem to find yourself always pointing these out, then negatives will tend to increase.
Buddy can be used to enable parents, to encourage, engage, exemplify and nurture the qualities they most want their child to have and / or develop, in a fun and unique way.
Getting The Best Out Of Buddy
Each time your child wears an inspiring design, remember to use positive comments by acknowledging when you see these values, virtues and qualities being actioned. This will encourage them to act on these behaviours more often....UNTIL IT BECOMES HABIT. Use the inspiring words to interact with your child, to initiate a conversation and discover what your child thinks and feels about him or herself or about the words, baring in mind that you have the power to increase your child's confidence and self esteem or to undermine it.
After all, the future will be in our children's hands one day...won't it!
What we teach and pass onto them now, is crucial, as it could be one of your children, who create the solutions needed, or discover an invention, to address the many serious global issues that we are witnessing right here and now on this planet, every day.
